I am going to the Frio Rio in Texas they have catfish,bass ,carp and striper but i dont now what batit??????

How will I double my catfish catches with the evening secret? Do catfish eat the live bait that accumulates around the light? Do I grab the little fish and use them as bait to catch catfish?

Hey I have a problem because turtles are eating the bait before the catfish and I tryed everything from liver to worms to live shad and sunk it to the bottom put it on a bobber and I caught four cats one day on fried chiken skin but never agian.
