How do you catch catfish on the Santee Cooper?

What bait can I make with chicken livers that can pull up more than a 5 pound catfish.I can only catch those 10 to 15 inch catfish please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a pond with big channel and flathead catfish i put in there. But everything i use does not work what bait or live bait would u suggest? And how to fish it.

i have read all over the net that big channel cats and blues eat only fish, and mostly dead fish at that. my question is, would fresh dead bait be better than three or four day old dead fish?

I live by a Kansas river bend,I regularly catch 5-10 pd. flatheads there.The biggest ive caught there was a 32 pounder…..Are there usually quite a few Big cats in one area,Or do they like there space from the other big cats?
