Ohio Catfish Fishing Tips

Remember that during the hottest weather, you will find catfish in the deeper water, closest to the bottom. They will be seeking respite from the heat in the mud, in depressions, under hanging cliff and rock areas, and around cover. They may not be as active during the especially hot times of day, and may actually be more active at night. Light will attract bait fish and insects and draw them to the surface during these times.
