I live in Arkansas close to the Arkansas River and have never fished in a river before. I am use to pond fishing with worms. What type of line, hooks, weights, and bait do I use to catch catfish?

Where can i buy range cubes noone has them here in the columbus ohio area most never heard of them I found it in a block at 33 per cent protine but thats not range cubs No grain mill has it here They have fish food that floats on surface pond cats eat. Do u know where i can buy it on internet? I’ve never tried chumming but sounds fun Thank you Phil
