can you catch catfish in a large pond during march

You can catch a catfish in a large pond in March! It does depend on where you live though and the type of weather you have. That can also influence if it will be a simple catch or not. If the pond isn’t frozen then you can cast into the deepest part. That is where the fish will be as the deeper water is warmer. You won’t get the same type of action that you normally would though on a hot summer day though. The catfish are still there though and they still have to have some food to eat. You may need to try different types of bait though to get their attention. A small boat can also allow you to try drifting techniques.
