Which Catfish Rods to Use

When Price Does Matter

Not everyone can or wants to spend a good amount of money on their catfish rods. In fact, you do not have to have a specialty rod to enjoy some great catfish. There are many budget friendly models on the market, each unique in what they offer. When considering these rods, take the time to examine them and get to know what features they offer in comparison to what you need.

One option is the Cabela King Kat line of fishing rods. If you plan to fish small rivers, this is a good choice. They usually price around $20 each and there are a total of five spinning options available as well as three casting options. You will find them to be quite good for their price with E Glass, double foot ceramic guide and for those that fish at night, a bright tip to guide you. Their bottom portion is EVA foam grip handles and they feature stainless steel hoods for their reel seats. This catfish rod will work well for those that are just starting out fishing, even younger first timers, as well as those that want something that can easily be tossed around and used when necessary.

Which catfish rods will you select? Base that decision on what works for your fishing skill, location and budget.
