blender with 1/2 Cup of cornmeal, 1 tablespoon each of garlic powder
and sugar. Blend well and place this mixture in a jar and shake twice
daily for a week and its ready. Use with dip worms or sponges.
Catfish Weenies
Slice a package of cheap hot dogs into 1/2" pieces. Place in a glass
jar and cover with fish oil. Add 4 Tbsp of crushed garlic. Place the
lid on tight and store in the refrigerator for a few days. You can add
salt, if desired. Use on a single wire hook.
Bumblebee Bait
Dump a can of Bumblebee tuna, juice and all, into a mixing bowl. Add 4
tbsp of garlic salt. Add all purpose flour and knead until a
semi-sticky dough is formed. Roll into a ball and store in the
refrigerator until ready to use. To use, simply pinch off small pieces
and place on a treble hook.
There is no limit to what you can use to catch catfish with, even soap.
Don't be afraid to try new things. Other ingredients you can try are
canned cat food, canned dog food, canned salmon, shrimp, mackerel,
sardines and anchovies.
Happy Fishing.
