How To Cook Catfish

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Season the fillets with 1/4 teaspoon of pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Add one teaspoon of lemon juice over the fillets. In a bowl mix the remaining pepper, salt, thyme, parsley, onion, celery, lemon juice, cream cheese and bread crumbs together.
 
Take the mixture and divide into four portions. Place one portion on each fish fillet and roll the fillet up around the mixture. Place two pieces of bacon around each fillet and hold together with a toothpick. Place the stuffed fillets in a baking dish and place in the oven for twenty minutes. Use the pimiento strips to garnish.
 
There are so many ways to make catfish. The popular way is to fry in a pan with flour and butter. There are so many different recipes that will delight even the fussiest eater. In some cases, people will like the new recipe so much that they will not be able to stop making it. The catfish has a sweet taste to begin with, but when you start experimenting, you will have a new taste with a different aroma.
 
Catfish are very tasty and when filleted correctly, they do make a good choice for a fish dinner of some type. Some of the casserole recipes are also so good. The idea is to make as many different types of meal with the catfish so you have a variety of choices. You do not want to keep eating catfish just one way. The basic way is good, but you always need something a little different from time to time.
