Have you heard any new catfishing stories lately?

You know, the last good fish story I heard was one I have talked about before. It seems that this story is just fascinating to everyone. It is about that guy in Illinois that caught the big catfish on a fish head and wanted to send it somewhere for show. The cay died on the way. This would have been the biggest cat to record. If it had lived, it would have been a trip to make to see it. I heard a few stories about some big catfish, but I tried to confirm the stories and was unable to do so. As you all know, I will not talk about a story unless I can confirm it and see some pictures for proof. I have been checking some of the upcoming catfish tournaments for the coming year. With the economy that way it is, I suspect that some of the tournaments will be less competitive, but I could be wrong about that. I did hear last summer that Hummingbird has collaborated with XM Satellite radio so that they can give you real time weather reports on your GPS. However, I heard that it is only compatible with 1100, 900 and 700 series combo units. This is nice for boats that have no radio or communication radios on their boats. This was announced back in July 2008. I have not heard anything about it since it just became available in January of 2009. I am curious to hear if anyone has it.
