im an 11 year old . i need the best way to catch more and bigger fish

The first key to catching more and bigger fish is to be fishing on a lake that holds both high populations of fish and is large enough to hold fish of large size. At eleven years old I realize your options are limited. When I was eleven I fished a medium sized lagoon near my house, quite often for Catfish. The most important piece of advice I can give you is to use the proper bait. Using live or even freshly killed and cut fish is the absolute best bait for large Catfish. If you are only interested in quantity of fish I would then perhaps switch to night crawlers which will maximize the amount of small Catfish you catch. A live or freshly killed piece of fish is your best bet for large Catfish. When using this bait make one key adjustment to your bait. When using live bait always cut a small portion of the tail of the bait. This will accomplish two objectives. First it will cause a small amount of blood to enter the water and act as a chum that attracts Catfish to your fishing area. Secondly it will cause your bait to swim erratically. All predatory fish are instinctively programmed to attack fish that move as if they are injured. It is this instinct that allows them to love as cold blooded creatures. If you try this simply adjustment you will certainly notice a marked increase in your catch ratio and average size caught.
