Ontario Fishing Trip Advice

Dan,

There are certainly some wonderful locations, services, and fishing in Ontario, and with a little research and planning, you should be able to find just what you are looking for! Stanton Air one service you should consider for your fly in service. Stanton Air services Southern Ontario’s remote bass fishing locations. In fact, it offers you probably the most choices to guarantee you get just what you are hoping for and have plenty of outposts from which to choose. All the lakes in the area are within an hour and a half drive from Toronto. The flights are usually about thirty five miles average and take about twenty minutes to reach. Both small and large mouth bass make the line up for plentiful fishing at these lakes. All amenities are available as are provisions and guide services in most areas. Consider Wolf Lake, and see if you like the area and what it has to offer. Just book as early as you can. Another good choice would be Loch Island Lodge. The base is located in Hawk Junction. It may be on the path a little less traveled, or fished, if that appeals to you, but it still provides ample amenities to fulfill most of your requirements. It is located in Northern Ontario in the center of the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve, on Wabatongushi lake. You can reach this destination by car, but there is also ample train and plane transportation available as well. Again, book as early as you can.
