Please help. I am trying to catch catfish. What is the best time of day to catch catfish?

Please help..im trying to catch catfish what is the best time of the day.. thanks

The best time of day to catch catfish is at night. The catfish is a night feeder, but they do feed during the day if you find the right location. There are some cases where the smaller catfish come out during the day. This all depends on what the water and weather conditions are like. Although, you hear about catfish being caught during the day, the majority of the catfish are caught at night. Depending on where you live, it might be possible that the catfish are biting during the day. The catfish like the dark. Try fishing during the day in deeper waters where the point and humps are located. The darker the water, the better the fishing. If you are fishing for the big catfish, you want to use the right bait and be in the right water depth. The bigger catfish are in waters as deep as one hundred feet. However, they can be caught in water about fifty to sixty feet in some areas. If you already know where the catfish are, you should try fishing at night. Remember that nighttime fishing requires quiet so you do not disturb the feeding. Catfish are very sensitive to vibration. Trolling might not be the best way to fish catfish, but sitting in one place is the way to catch them. Use the right bait as well. The bigger catfish need a bigger fish such as large fish head where the smaller catfish will go after a minnow of small to medium size.
