I was wonderin if there was any certain kind of gloves that you wanna use for noodlin or does it really matter….thanks

Well, let me say that I am not a noodling fan and I do not intend to become a member of that club. Those big fish can injure you if you are not careful. From what I do know, you should wear some protective gear so that the cat does not cause injury. Another reason to wear protective gear is if you accidentally think you have a cat in a hole and it turns out to be something that could cause you more injury than a catfish. The gloves should be thick, but not to thick that you lose the grip or the feel of the catfish. If you use a latex glove, you have no protection from the fish. If you use a glove made for welding, you are not going to feel anything, much less a slippery fish. The glove should provide you with a gripping power because the fish is slippery and can slip through your hands easily. Have you ever seen the gloves that some die casters wear or gardening gloves that have those little rubber dots all over, those could be used as the outside glove. You could wear a thicker glove underneath and the dotted glove on the outside for gripping power. Like I said, I am not an expert at noodling, but if I were to partake, I would do it that way and protect my hands and still have some grip on the fish. Good luck and let me know if you catch the fish.
