What catfishing tricks do you have up your sleeve?

I always have something up my sleeve. I recently went out and caught some channel catfish on a new bait I have been trying. It seemed to work like a charm. I used a casserole if you call it that. I made a Cajun casserole with chicken in it. I used garlic and Cajun powder. I must have over did it because no one wanted to eat it. I decided that it smelled up the kitchen and the rest of house, so maybe it would work for the catfish. As I though, my family wanted nothing to do with it, but the cats found it to be a delicacy. I caught three nice sized cats and got rid of all of the casserole. I talked to one angler that used a box of Cajun dinner with rice in a dough ball. He said that it worked like a charm. I would suspect that catfish enjoy Cajun foods. I am going to be making some other baits with the Cajun powder to see how they work before posting them for everyone. I like to try things a few times before to see if they will work. The same goes for the equipment that I use. If I like something and it works great, I will always share with everyone. Anyways, those are some things I have been experimenting with and will soon be sharing. I am also trying out a few new hooks that I found. So far, it has been the same as my other hooks, so expensive hooks are out and the cheaper hooks are still in.
